Gas Fees Tracker

Live network fees on 14 chains, read straight from the chains themselves every two minutes. Every row turns the raw gas price into what you would actually pay right now — sending the native coin, sending a token, or swapping on a DEX.

Standard tier, read straight from the chain every 10 minutes. The 24H line shows each 10-minute reading; 7D averages them by hour. History is kept for 7 days.

The same act of moving money costs <$0.0001 on OP Mainnet and $0.110 on Bitcoin. Gas is paid to the network, not to an exchange — it is the fee you keep paying after your coins have left the exchange, so it belongs next to the withdrawal fee, not instead of it.

USD columns price the average tier at 21,000 gas for a coin transfer, 65,000 for a token transfer and 150,000 for a DEX swap — typical amounts, not a measurement of your own transaction. Bitcoin has no smart contracts, so only the transfer column applies, priced at 141 vB for a one-input, two-output SegWit payment.

Gas fees — FAQ

Which blockchain has the cheapest fees right now?

Right now a simple transfer costs <$0.0001 on OP Mainnet, the cheapest of the 14 chains we track, against $0.110 on Bitcoin. Gas moves minute to minute — the numbers on this page refresh from the chains themselves every two minutes.

What is a gas fee?

Gas is the fee a blockchain charges to process a transaction — paid to the network's validators or miners, not to any exchange. It varies with how busy the chain is and with the complexity of the action: a DEX swap burns several times the gas of a plain transfer.

Is gas the same as an exchange withdrawal fee?

No — they stack. The exchange charges its own withdrawal fee to send coins to your wallet; after that, every move you make on-chain costs gas. Our withdrawal-fee pages cover the first number; this page covers the second.

Gas prices come from each chain directly: EVM chains through the standard eth_feeHistorycall on public RPC nodes (base fee of the next block plus the 10th/50th/90th percentile tip paid over the last 20 blocks), and Bitcoin from mempool.space’s recommended fee rates. Last reading Sep 18, 07:36 UTC. USD amounts are computed at render time from the live coin price, so they move with the market; the gas amounts for a token send and a swap are typical values, not a measurement of your specific transaction. On the 6 layer-2 rollups listed, the figure covers execution on the rollup only and excludes the data fee the rollup pays to Ethereum, so a real transaction there costs somewhat more than shown.
