Privacy Policy

The short version: there is no account to create and no form to fill in; we use Google Analytics for aggregate visit statistics and nothing else. The long version is below.

Who we are

Coinmarketfees (“we”, “the site”) publishes crypto exchange fee data at coinmarketfees.com. This policy covers that website only. Questions about it go to [email protected].

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising, session recorders, social pixels or A/B testing tools. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, no comment box and no contact form, so there is no field anywhere on the site in which you could give us personal data. We do not ask for, and could not use, exchange API keys, wallet addresses, seed phrases or payment details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see aggregate statistics — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and how the site is found. Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning with _ga) to distinguish returning browsers, and Google processes the data under its own privacy policy. We do not feed it any personal data, we use no advertising or remarketing features, and we look only at aggregate reports. Blocking these cookies with your browser or an extension does not affect any feature of the site.

What is stored on your device

Besides the analytics cookies above: your light/dark theme choice, saved in your browser’s local storage under the key cmf-theme. It exists so the site does not flash the wrong theme on the next page load. It never leaves your browser and clearing your browser data removes it.

Our hosting provider may set strictly technical cookies where they are needed to deliver the site securely (for example bot protection); these are not used to profile you and we do not read them.

What our servers see

Like every website, ours receives the technical details of your request — IP address, user agent, the page requested, the time — which our hosting provider (Vercel) processes to deliver pages, keep the service available and defend against abuse. We use these operational logs for nothing else: no profiles, no cross-site tracking, no enrichment, no sale. Vercel acts as our infrastructure provider and processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Third parties your browser contacts

Fee data is fetched on our servers, not in your browser: reading a page does not connect you to any exchange or data provider. The exceptions are worth naming precisely.

Fonts are served from our own domain — your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other font host.

If you email us

When you write to us — for example to report a wrong fee — we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to handle it and to keep a record of the correction. We do not add you to any list.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about site visitors, there is normally nothing for us to hand over or erase. Where we do hold something — an email you sent us — write to [email protected] and we will act on your request. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.

Children

The site is not directed to children and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything that changes the picture above — analytics, a contact form, an embedded third party — we will update this page and move the date at the top before that change goes live, not after.
