PI trading fees — FAQ
Which exchange has the lowest PI trading fee?
MEXC, at 0–0.05% taker and 0% maker on the base tier. Trading fees are charged per order as a percentage of the trade value, so a lower rate matters most if you trade often.
What is the difference between maker and taker fees?
A maker order adds liquidity — it sits on the order book until someone trades against it. A taker order removes liquidity by matching an existing order immediately. Exchanges charge takers more, and some pay makers a rebate. Trading PI with limit orders that rest on the book gets you the maker rate.
Can I pay lower fees on PI trades?
Yes — 6 of these exchanges cut fees when you pay in their own token (for example MEXC: −20% paying fees in MX). 12 exchanges also run VIP ladders where 30-day volume or token holdings lower your rate.
Do futures fees differ from spot fees on PI?
