Buying UMA step by step
- Pick a venue from the table. For a coin this size the choice is usually short — 25 exchanges list UMA at all, and the table already shows what you will pay to leave as well as to buy.

What is the cheapest way to buy UMA?

Can I buy UMA with a credit card?

Is it safe to leave UMA on the exchange?
It is a custody choice, not a safety switch. While the coin sits there the exchange holds the keys: convenient, recoverable if you lose your password, and dependent on the exchange staying solvent and keeping withdrawals open. Moving it to a wallet you control removes that dependency and costs one withdrawal fee — from $0.07742 for UMA. For a trading balance, staying put is reasonable; for a long hold, most people move.
Which network should I use for UMA?
UMA is issued on 2 networks and they are not interchangeable — UMA sent over Ethereum (ERC20) will not arrive at an address on Cronos. Ethereum (ERC20) is the one most exchanges use (23 of them).
